Group Clean-up Responsibilities

Each group is expected to leave the camp as clean as they found it (minimum). This helps us keep costs down and makes it affordable for your group to come. We are not a hotel, or a resort, and thus do not have the funds or resources to keep up with all that needs to happen at camp. Thanks in advance for your support. Please check with the Camp Host for cleaning supplies.

CLEANING FEE: You choose.

Option 1: Leave camp clean according to this form (no charge) or accept any charges for items not completed.

Option 2: If you indicate ahead of time that you do not wish to clean up at the end of your stay, your group will be charged full rate per area used, as indicated below in parenthesis.

 Group Leaders:

Group Leaders are encouraged to tour the facilities with the camp host before leaving to assure compliance.

Please do not try to accomplish these tasks alone, as it would take you most of the day to accomplish, but rather help your group understand that we all have a responsibility to keep camp looking great and that we all need to share the burden.

 

Pathfinder Lodge rooms and bathrooms: ($10 per room)

  1. Vacuum all carpeting.
  2. Clean sinks and mirrors in all rooms and bathrooms used. (Mirrors are to be left smudge and streak free)
  3. Make sure all toilets are flushed and paper picked up
  4. Clean showers and mop floors in the bathrooms
  5. Put all chairs, tables and games in designated places.
  6. Bag all trash and place in receptacle behind cafeteria (Feather Inn).
  7. Make sure all windows are closed and curtains are open.
  8. Make sure all heat is turned down to #1 (except bathrooms which should be #4).

 

Pathfinder Lodge kitchen: ($60)

  1. Clean, dry, and put away all dishes and cooking utensils in there designated areas.
  2. Remove all food and trash and place in receptacle behind Feather Inn .
  3. Clean ovens, grill and refrigerator. (Please do not leave any food as it will be thrown out.)
  4. Clean sinks, counters and floor.
  5. Vacuum carpet
  6. Sweep stairs

 

Cafeteria (Feather Inn): ($60)

  1. Put tables and chairs back in order.
  2. Sweep and Mop floor (Dining hall – Hall way – Bathrooms.)
  3. Clean all sinks and mirrors in bathrooms. (Mirrors are to be left spot, smudge, and streak free.)
  4. Take trash out and place in receptacle behind cafeteria.

 

HQ Infirmaries: ($10 each room)

  1. Clean all sinks and mirrors. (Mirrors are to be left spot, smudge, and streak free.)
  2. Vacuum floors.
  3. Close all windows and open the curtains.
  4. Turn heat down to 65 degrees.
  5. Take trash out and place in receptacle behind cafeteria.

 

Activity Center: ($60)

  1. Vacuum carpets and rugs
  2. Sweep hallway
  3. Sweep bathrooms
  4. Make sure all toilets are flushed
  5. Clean mirrors, sinks and counters. (Mirrors are to be left spot, smudge, and streak free.)
  6. Take trash out and place in receptacle behind cafeteria.

 

Cabins: ($40 per cabin)

  1. Sweep the floors.
  2. Make sure all mattresses are present on the beds.
  3. Make sure all beds are returned to their original place.
  4. Bag trash and put in receptacle behind cafeteria.
  5. Clean mirrors, sinks and counters. (Mirrors are to be left spot, smudge, and streak free.)
  6. Make sure lights are out, windows closed, and curtains open.

 

Central Bathrooms: ($60)

  1. Clean mirrors, sinks and counters. (Mirrors are to be left spot, smudge, and streak free)
  2. Sweep floors.
  3. Mop up wet areas (including the showers).
  4. Bag trash and put in receptacle behind cafeteria.
  5. Make sure all toilets are flushed (report any that are plugged)

 

Grounds: ($50)

  1. Pick up all trash and put in receptacle behind cafeteria.
  2. Picnic tables are to be put back where they were found.
  3. Recreational equipment is to be returned to the office.
  4. Remove any marking devices from the ball field.

 

Eagle Eye Cabin/ Ellis Lodge ($75)

  1. Clean mirrors, sinks and counters. (Mirrors are to be left spot, smudge, and streak free)
  2. Sweep floors.
  3. Vacuum all carpeting
  4. Clean, dry, and put away all dishes and cooking utensils in there designated areas.
  5. Clean stove, oven, and refrigerator (Leave no food)
  6. Bag all trash and place in receptacle behind cafeteria
  7. Turn out lights and lock entrance doors.
